I’m delighted to announce a new partnership with Golf Digest Ireland, who have taken me on board as a Golf Digest Ireland Teaching Professional.
The partnership saw me visit beautiful Luttrellstown Castle Golf Course over the weekend, to shoot a number of tutorial videos. Golf Digest will be sending these in a series to people who subscribe to their weekly e-zine.
The first video went out today. It’s on ‘How to stitch that 50 Yard pitch…every time’.
It actually shows me hitting a pitch from 65 yards. The idea is that the ball will travel 50 yards in the air, and then run 15 to the hole.
I show how the nine o’clock position is important for the swing, and also talk the importance of correct stance and a full follow through.
The result is a shot to within six feet of the hole, giving me a good birdie chance there.
You can watch the video below, to get these tips yourself.
I’m proud of this association with Golf Digest. I look forward to continuing to work with them well into the future.
Book a Golf Lesson
If you haven’t been to see me before, the video also gives an idea of the sort of teaching style you can expect when you book a lesson with me.
I give golf lessons in Dublin and Kildare. See my locations and schedule, or Book a Golf Lesson online here.
